Mother's Day Homage

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY International to all mothers, surrogates, dad moms, mom dads, mothers of the unborn, and best friends and husbands who help hold you together when it seems like noone else out there gives a rip.

Pictured above is my biological mother (died in 2019) who taught me everything she could, including how to not believe anything you hear but to believe that everyone has the capacity to be taught. One just has to hope for the best and plan for the worst.

A mother's job is never done because it is so far-reaching. In the absence of a mother's support I personally learned the value of a big sister and friends. At the darkest points of my life it wasn't usually my mother who was the calm help and encouragement. It was my oldest sister and my mother-in-law, Mary. It was my fan base of clients/close friends. And most of all it was my best friend, Brock, who supported me when I didn't know what the hell was going on with my life, business, marriage, or family. He and his mom did the job of ten mothers and showed me what real love is like. I married that man and will always remember every little support, guidance, and ounce of love he has given since I met him. Many thanks also to my grandmother who gave outstanding support when I was growing up and learning about life. She gave me an example of sacrifice and patience. Many thanks to the mother of my husband's children who did her best in the good and the bad and has spent 25 years of her life raising my husband's children. You are all amazing women in your own way, and you are beautiful. Happy Mother's Day.
